What do I need to place an advertisement?

You will need to prepare details of your advertisement, such as a catchy title, description, features and price. You will also have the opportunity to upload up to 13 photos of the property. A valid credit card is required for payment.

How much does an advertisement cost?

The cost of a 90-day real estate advertisement on BrisRealEstate.com is $220 (incl. GST).

The cost of a 30-day rental property advertisement on BrisRentals.com is $59 (incl. GST).

How is payment made for the advertisement?

Payment is made through our secure online credit card form, which accepts Visa, MasterCard, Bankcard, American Express and Diners Club.

Is the site secure?

Yes, nobody will be able to gain access to your credit card details. A padlock icon will appear on your browser whilst in the payment section. This notifies you that your details will be sent over an encrypted connection.

How do interested people contact me?

People can contact you via a form on your advertisement. Your email address will remain invisible and confidential to us. Visitors to the site will not see your email address. They can also contact you by telephone on the number provided by you.

Can I include photos on my advertisement?

Yes, up to 13 digital photos may be uploaded. You will have the opportunity to upload photos after you enter the content of your advertisement.

How do I get my photos in digital format?

You will need to use either a digital camera to take digital photos, or use a scanner to turn printed photos into digital ones for use on your computer. You can also have photos developed in a digital format at photo outlets.

What format do photos need to be in?

We accept all major photo/image formats.

What happens once I am happy with the content of my advertisement?

You will have a final opportunity to review your advertisement prior to submitting your payment details. Once payment has been processed, your advertisement will appear on the website immediately and you will not be able to alter your ad.

When will my advertisement appear on the website?

Your advertisement is visible on the website immediately after payment is processed and accepted.

How do I remove my advertisement?

It is common for properties listed on BrisRealEstate.com, BrisRentals.com and BrisFlatmates.com to be sold or tenanted quickly. If you want your advertisement removed, please contact us. Otherwise, your advertisement will be automatically removed after 30 days for rental property and share accommodation, and after 90 days for real estate.

How can my ad be found on the website?

Your ad can be found a number of ways. It will turn up in search results if your advertisement matches the criteria of users conducting searches. Your advertisement may also be sent to people via our Email Alert system if they are interested in properties like yours.

Can I see how many people have viewed my advertisement?

Yes - when viewing the details of any advertisement, you can click the link 'Show Visits to this Page', which will tell you how many times the advertisement has been viewed.
